eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is a prominent retailer in Saudi Arabia, committed to providing comprehensive after-sales support to its customers. We are currently seeking a Computer Technician to join our dedicated After-Sales Service team.

Role Overview

The Computer Technician will be responsible for delivering technical support and maintenance services for a range of computer and mobile devices. This full-time role involves direct customer interaction, efficient issue resolution, and contributing to the overall customer service experience within a retail or service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install screen protectors and coatings for mobile phones and smartwatches.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems for PCs and laptops.
• Install, activate, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office and antivirus software.
• Format and reinstall operating systems on mobile devices, PCs, and laptops.
• Transfer data between mobile devices of different brands and operating systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot printers and related peripherals.
• Provide technical support and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Receive maintenance devices from customers and create service requests in the system.
• Diagnose and perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in computer and mobile device maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with antivirus software installation and activation processes.
• Basic understanding of printer configuration and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail or service environment.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is an integral part of our After-Sales Service operations, contributing to customer satisfaction and technical support delivery.
