The Opportunity: Financial Planning & Analysis Junior

Salla is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Junior to join its Finance team. This analytical role supports the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes, which are crucial for executive and board-level decision-making. This position is designed for an early-career professional eager to develop expertise in financial planning, financial modeling, and business performance analysis within a high-growth technology company.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets by gathering input, updating driver-based models, and reconciling actuals to forecasts.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. prior year) across revenue, gross margin, and OPEX, including drafting commentary on key drivers.
• Maintain and improve recurring reporting packs and KPI dashboards.
• Extract and validate data from source systems and BI tools, identifying and flagging data-quality issues.
• Assist in building financial models, ensuring formula integrity, consistent logic across periods, and a clean structure.
• Support month-end close activities from the FP&A perspective, including accruals review, cost allocations, and segment tagging.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and other business departments, such as department heads, budget owners, and data teams, to gather inputs, resolve discrepancies, and align on assumptions.

Role Requirements

• 0-1 years of relevant experience, suitable for an individual at the beginning of their FP&A career.
• Demonstrated eagerness to develop expertise in financial planning, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technology environment.
