The Role of Heating Air Conditioning Technician

Magrabi Health is seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Technician to join its team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems across assigned hospitals and centers. The technician ensures reliable HVAC operation, appropriate indoor environmental conditions, and timely responses to maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), split units, package units, and various ventilation and exhaust systems.
• Monitor HVAC equipment performance and report any abnormalities.
• Respond promptly to HVAC breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections of filters, motors, belts, fans, coils, thermostats, and other related components.
• Support the operation and basic troubleshooting of chilled-water systems and pumps, where applicable.
• Maintain appropriate temperature and ventilation conditions, particularly in critical hospital areas.
• Coordinate with Facilities/Engineering teams and external contractors for major repairs.
• Adhere to safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) practices.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Support facility inspections and readiness for accreditation processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in HVAC maintenance.

This position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Makkah Province, Saudi Arabia.
