About the Income Auditor Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dedicated Finance professional to join our team as an Income Auditor in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience in a relevant field. The Income Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting within the hotel operations.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

As an Income Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying all financial reports to ensure proper authorization and adherence to applicable policies and procedures. This involves a meticulous approach to daily financial documentation and reporting, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the hotel.

• Review and verify the Night Auditors logbook, daily revenue report, and daily Food & Beverage report, along with supporting vouchers and trial balance.
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining approval from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Review the rate variance report to ensure correct rates are applied across all transactions.
• Examine city ledger and credit card transfers for the day and forward them to Accounts Receivable.
• Audit the daily cash summary and update the General Cashier’s report accordingly.
• Review overages and shortages of Cashiers, taking appropriate action, and review Front Office foreign exchange rates as required.
• Conduct weekly float counting for all house fund holders and prepare a monthly float count summary.
