About the Master Data Steward Role

AIQU is seeking a Master Data Steward to join its team in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah. This outsourced position focuses on ensuring the integrity and quality of the company's master data across various domains.

Core Responsibilities

The Master Data Steward will be responsible for maintaining high-quality master data, including Item, Location, and Supplier Master Data. This involves processing and managing master data requests in accordance with established governance policies and workflows. The role requires close collaboration with business and technical teams to support data changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitoring data quality metrics, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions are key aspects of this position. The steward will also support master data activities related to system implementations, migrations, and data cleansing projects, and will review daily exception reports to ensure timely resolution of data-related issues.

Key Stakeholder Engagement

This role necessitates working closely with various stakeholders across departments, including Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and IT. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for ensuring data accuracy and alignment across the organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 0-1 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Administration, or Data Stewardship.

Technical and Soft Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, databases, and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business teams.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

This is an outsourced position located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with work based in Jeddah.
