About the Opportunity

Alkhorayef Industries Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician After Sales (Power Generation) to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing essential mechanical support for diesel generator systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction within the power generation sector.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive after-sales service of diesel generator mechanical systems (Gensets) at various customer sites. This includes installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. The primary objective is to ensure the reliable operation of equipment and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through expert technical service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on diesel generators (Gensets).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in diesel engines and associated generator systems.
• Carry out generator installation, commissioning, testing, and startup activities.
• Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components such as cooling systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, belts, hoses, pumps, and engine parts.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and service documentation.
• Utilize mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation after each site visit.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Travel to customer sites within the region as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in power generation or heavy equipment.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when required to meet operational demands.

Location and Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves regular travel to customer sites throughout the region. The role requires adaptability to various work environments and a commitment to on-site service delivery.
