Esnad Contracting is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment across our project sites.

The Role of a Safety Officer

The Safety Officer is responsible for the implementation and oversight of occupational health and safety requirements within our contracting operations. This role involves proactive monitoring, identification of hazards, and the promotion of a robust safety culture to ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• Implement occupational health and safety requirements across the project site.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Follow up and close out safety observations and corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
• Ensure compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for the workforce.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety, preferably within the contracting or construction industry. A proven track record in implementing safety protocols and conducting site inspections is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based primarily at project sites within the Jeddah and Makkah regions of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with project teams to maintain high safety standards and foster a secure working environment.
