Aquat Food Industries is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across our operations.

Role Overview

The Senior Safety Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across facilities and operations.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international occupational health and safety regulations.
Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HR teams to integrate safety into daily activities and project planning.
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adequacy of safety resources.
Identify potential hazards and design solutions to prevent workplace injuries or environmental damage.
Support emergency response planning and conduct safety drills.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in safety management. A strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices is required.
