Role Overview: Production Officer

Almarai is seeking a Production Officer to join its team in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Production Officer will lead a self-directed, multi-functional team to ensure the efficient processing and packing of seafood products, including shrimp, salmon, and multi-species fish. The primary objective is to meet company specifications, production targets, and food safety standards, while maintaining product quality, yield, and operational efficiency within established management parameters.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets, adhering to product specifications and quality standards.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure all employees perform tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
Oversee seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to ensure adherence to yield and quality targets.
Review production plans in collaboration with the Planning Department to guarantee product availability according to schedules.
Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring products are delivered at the right time and meet specified requirements.
Ensure all seafood products consistently meet company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Production Officer role should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant production or manufacturing environment, ideally within the food and beverage sector, with a focus on seafood processing.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in one of Almarai's facilities located in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. The role involves leading a multi-functional team in a dynamic production setting focused on seafood processing.
