Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking dedicated maintenance professionals to join its team in Makkah. The company focuses on delivering high standards of service and operational efficiency within its hotel complex. This full-time Electrician role is integral to maintaining the hotel's electrical infrastructure and ensuring guest satisfaction through reliable service.

Role Overview

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures throughout the hotel. This role requires adherence to relevant electrical codes and safety standards to ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all electrical systems and appliances within the premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment within the hotel complex, with a strong emphasis on health and safety protocols.
• Perform maintenance and repair works on all mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation equipment to ensure the ongoing safe and efficient running of the hotel.
• Address issues with mains/domestic single and three-phase supplied distribution systems, as well as all lighting and in-house power installations and appliances.
• Assist with all emergency services, including fire alarms, lighting, batteries, and standby power requirements, such as generators.
• Manage control systems related to M&E processes, including general equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shaver sockets, and all guest and service lifts.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to accurately determine the location of wiring and equipment, ensuring conformance to building and safety codes.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in an electrician role or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective service and provide practical solutions for electrical issues.
• Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
• Understanding of relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah in Makkah. The role operates within a dynamic hotel environment, requiring a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to operational excellence.
