About the F&B Service Expert Role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated F&B Service Expert to join our team in Makkah. This full-time position is central to creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional food and beverage service. The role involves proactive engagement with guests to ensure their dining satisfaction, making every interaction a seamless part of their overall stay.

Key Responsibilities

As an F&B Service Expert, you will be responsible for a range of duties that ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction. These responsibilities include:

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively and professionally with kitchen staff.
• Interacting with and serving guests in a courteous manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Contributing to a safe workplace environment for all.
• Adhering to all company policies and operational procedures.
• Consistently upholding quality service standards.
• Ensuring professional appearance, uniform, and communication at all times.
• Managing menu information, including reading and visual verification.
• Performing additional reasonable job duties as requested to support guest satisfaction and business needs.

Physical Demands of the Role

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various tasks. Candidates should be able to:

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move over diverse surfaces, including sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery areas.
• Engage in hands-on work, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the F&B Service Expert position should meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.
