About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Medical Equipment Sterilization Technician to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety within medical environments, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized to prevent infection.

Role Overview

The Sterilization Technician is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of medical and surgical instruments used in hospitals. This role is fundamental in preventing the spread of germs and infection, thereby protecting patient health and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Decontaminate surgical and medical instruments.
• Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulations to protect patients from infection.
• Assemble medical equipment.
• Perform routine testing and quality control checks to ensure proper equipment function.
• Conduct equipment inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records.
• Organize tools, sort mismatched sets of instruments, and ensure timely availability for physicians.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of relevant experience.

Work Environment and Schedule

This role operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, determined by a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
