Esnad Contracting is a reputable company seeking a dedicated Rigger Level 3 to join its operational team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of all lifting and rigging activities on project sites.

The Role of a Rigger Level 3

The Rigger Level 3 is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all lifting and rigging operations. This involves ensuring that every lifting activity strictly adheres to approved lifting plans, established safety procedures, and specific project requirements. The role demands a strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all rigging, lifting, and securing activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment, slings, shackles, and other rigging accessories prior to each use.
• Provide clear guidance and maintain effective communication with crane operators throughout lifting operations.
• Ensure that proper rigging methods are consistently followed, in accordance with the specific load and approved lifting plan.
• Adhere strictly to all approved lifting plans, method statements, and site safety procedures.
• Proactively identify potential lifting hazards and report any unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
• Coordinate effectively with the lifting team and other site personnel to guarantee safe and seamless lifting operations.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization within and around all designated lifting areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or a relevant technical qualification is required.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience in lifting and rigging operations or a closely related field.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Solid knowledge of various lifting equipment, rigging tools, and established safe lifting practices.
• Ability to accurately understand and interpret lifting plans and basic technical instructions.
• Effective communication and strong teamwork skills to collaborate with site personnel.
