The Senior Product Designer Role

ALEA is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves leading end-to-end product design initiatives from discovery through delivery. The role focuses on working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business goals and customer needs into effective digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product design initiatives, from initial discovery to final delivery.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand business goals and customer needs.
Outline problems and opportunities, translating solutions into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity production-ready interfaces.
Create and iterate on designs, validate and defend design concepts.
Provide clear documentation for implementation and ensure the delivery of high-quality user experiences.

Required Qualifications

Strong product design capabilities, with demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end solutions in digital products.
Practical experience in UX Research, including gathering insights and translating them into actionable design decisions.
Proficiency in UI Design, capable of creating clear, accessible, and aesthetically cohesive interfaces aligned with brand and design systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating design rationale clearly to product and engineering.
Fluent in Figma and familiar with design systems and component libraries.
Experience designing for web and mobile platforms, with an understanding of responsive design, accessibility principles, and basic platform constraints.
A portfolio demonstrating the above requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in fintech, banking, or complex transactional product design.
Experience working effectively within remote teams.
