About the Role

AECOM is seeking a QHSE Manager to join their team in Neom. This full-time role involves managing moderately complex technical work across various environmental, safety, and health disciplines to ensure compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements. The position requires over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain current knowledge of government agency requirements and regulatory changes impacting operations.
Apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within the environmental specialty.
Independently develop solutions for complex safety and environmental challenges.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety and health programs, systems, and procedures.
Monitor and prevent hazards and diseases in the work area.
Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
Recommend improvements in processes, design, procedures, and operating equipment to minimize hazards.
Develop and conduct employee training and emergency preparedness programs.
Provide regulatory interpretation and technical advice to management and operational teams.
Conduct internal audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to ES&H policies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, records, and reports related to safety incidents, training, and compliance.
Communicate with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and stakeholders regarding compliance.
Manage ES&H program budgets and resources, identifying cost-effective solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through hazard assessments and safety performance analysis.
May act as a lead for a team of ES&H specialists or administer an ES&H program on projects.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 15 years of experience in a relevant environmental, safety, and health discipline.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical work and ensure regulatory compliance.
Strong understanding of ES&H standards and federal/state regulatory requirements.
