About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an F&B Coordinator to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The F&B Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of banquet events and maintaining high standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with group coordinators/hostesses before functions to make introductions and confirm arrangements.
Review and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timelines, specific guest needs, buffets, and action stations.
Address and fulfill special banquet event arrangements.
Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance.
Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires an individual who can effectively manage event details, maintain professional standards, and contribute positively to a team environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the hospitality sector at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. The role involves direct interaction with guests and collaboration with various hotel departments to ensure successful event execution.
