About the F&B Service Expert Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position focuses on creating a memorable guest experience beyond standard food and beverage service. The role involves proactive engagement with guests to ensure their satisfaction and contribute to the overall hotel operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables and preparing service areas.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and service.
• Interacting with and serving guests, ensuring a positive experience.
• Cleaning and maintaining work and storage areas to established standards.
• Reviewing menus and verifying information for guests.
• Performing physical tasks including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, moving on various surfaces, and lifting/carrying objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
• Reaching, bending, turning, stretching, and stooping as required for service duties.
• Adhering to company guidelines, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and communication style.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification is required for this role.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The F&B Service Expert operates within a dynamic hotel environment. The role requires constant movement, including standing, sitting, and walking for long periods. Tasks involve navigating sloped, uneven, and potentially slippery surfaces. Physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance, as well as reaching high places, bending down, and performing movements that require bending knees, turning, stretching, and stooping. Maintaining a safe workspace is a fundamental aspect of this role.
