Role Summary

HSBC is seeking an Analyst, Capital Markets & Advisory to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role supports the Investment Banking Advisory, Debt Advisory, and Project Export Finance teams in their daily execution and business activities, aiming to deliver high-quality service management and solutions to clients by leveraging HSBC's knowledge and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Support and assist in conducting preliminary financial and commercial due diligence, ensuring the accuracy of financial models, and identifying investment risks.
Create and analyze financial models and develop company valuations.
Support Associates, Associate Directors, and Directors in performing analyses and preparing reports for clients and senior management.
Prepare marketing materials for client pitches, roadshows, and marketing activities to contribute to business growth.
Conduct market monitoring activities, report on market information and Capital Market performance periodically, and escalate project risks or issues to the Director or Head of Unit.
Perform research to assess the existing market environment, monitor changes in external policy guidelines, and evaluate their implications on project decisions.
Produce regular reports for management and working groups.
Prepare and maintain KYC, conflict checks, closing files, and the department database, ensuring proper documentation and filing of all client and stakeholder documents.

Stakeholder Engagement

Support Directors on overall project planning by reporting on project schedules.
Escalate potential delays or identified risks to Directors on a regular basis.
Assist Directors in the preparation of project reports.
