Project Context: EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation

NTU International A/S is currently preparing a proposal for the EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project. This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between the EU and the MENA region, with a focus on accelerating the development, deployment, and investment potential of clean technologies and sustainable value chains across these regions.

The Role: Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Expert

NTU International A/S is expanding its network of qualified Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts to join its expert pool. These Non-Key Experts will be mobilised on a part-time, short-term, on-demand basis during the project implementation phase. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves supporting private sector development, business cooperation, market development, and sustainable clean technology value chains within the project framework.

Key Responsibilities

Selected experts may be tasked with supporting various activities, including:

• Analysing clean technology markets, business ecosystems, and value chains.
• Mapping companies, investors, technology providers, and other relevant market actors.
• Identifying business, trade, and investment opportunities across EU-MENA clean technology value chains.
• Supporting private sector engagement and business-to-business cooperation.
• Assessing supply chains, local content opportunities, and industrial development potential.
• Supporting SMEs, start-ups, and clean technology innovators in accessing markets, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Facilitating cooperation between companies, public authorities, investors, research institutions, and innovation ecosystems.
• Conducting market studies, value chain analyses, and business opportunity assessments.
• Supporting business matchmaking, investment promotion, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Expert Profile and Engagement

Candidates should be qualified Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts with 5-10 years of relevant professional experience. This role requires individuals capable of contributing to the project's objectives on an as-needed basis, demonstrating expertise in the areas outlined above.

Experts may be contacted on short notice based on specific project requirements, their availability, and matching qualifications. All selected experts will be subject to approval by the Contracting Authority prior to mobilisation. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps.
