The Role: Control & Reporting Asst Analyst

PepsiCo is seeking a Control & Reporting Asst Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to processing, verifying, and recording accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring robust accounting control. The role supports the Reporting Manager in critical month-end reporting activities and acts as a key finance point of contact for the Jeddah office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, verify, and record all Journal Entries, including payables, fixed asset transactions, G&A expenses (including payroll), and employee Travel & Entertainment (T&E).
  • Book, cross-charge, and reconcile inter-company transactions and invoices.
  • Review and validate petty cash expenses.
  • Act as a General Ledger (GL) supervisor on SAP.
  • Maintain and update the fixed assets register.
  • Prepare prepayments, accruals schedules, T&E aging reports, and clearing accounts for month-end reporting.
  • Assist the Reporting Manager with monthly and quarterly deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the SAP Master Data team on system-related issues.
  • Maintain the SAP Vendor list and ensure compliance with PepsiCo's 60-day payment terms.
  • Create new vendors, employees, and suppliers in coordination with the Master Data team.

Financial Control and Compliance

  • Safeguard company assets by maintaining a high level of financial control.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of books in compliance with the Smart Spend policy.
  • Validate GL and cost center bookings as part of releasing Purchase Orders.
  • Supervise T&E governance in the Jeddah office and conduct periodic audits on targeted samples to ensure policy and Smart Spending compliance.
  • Act as the main Finance point of contact for Jeddah office stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, statutory, and fiscal rules and regulations.
  • Perform GCS testing on a quarterly basis.
  • Implement policies and procedures that support efficient and well-controlled financial transaction processing systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar control-focused position. A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and familiarity with SAP are essential for success in this role.

Work Environment and Location
