About the Role

CAE Middle East is seeking a Flight Simulator Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting the technical operations of Riyadh Air's new training centre. The role offers exposure to modern flight simulators, systems, and equipment, providing opportunities for professional development within the technical function.

Role Context and Development

This position provides an opportunity to develop technical expertise within a new aviation training environment. The technician will work with advanced flight simulators and related systems, contributing to the establishment of technical operations from the ground up. The role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to grow their skills in flight simulation technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on flight simulators and associated systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting technical problems affecting flight simulators and associated systems.
• Utilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
• Complete all designated training activities.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators.
• Execute basic visual alignments.
• Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.
• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Comply with the CAE quality management system.
• Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.
• Execute logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Support the technical services group as required.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations within the aviation training environment.

Experience and Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant technical field.
• Ability to learn and apply technical maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with technical systems and equipment.
