About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking an HSE Officer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to upholding health, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring basic compliance with company HSE policies and supporting the documentation and reporting of related activities across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure basic compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements as per company policy.
• Report any employee illness or health concerns and contribute to maintaining employee welfare.
• Observe and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with work requirements.
• Assist in identifying potential risks and hazards, and support the implementation of basic control measures.
• Support the updating of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) documentation as required.
• Assist in measuring noise levels within the factory and recommend corrective actions or appropriate PPE for affected areas.
• Prepare reports on incidents, accidents, near misses, and lost man-hours, and assist in basic investigations and suggesting control measures.
• Gather and summarize employee suggestions related to safety and health improvements.
• Participate in conducting toolbox meetings and drills, including evacuation, fire, and environmental exercises.
• Assist in preparing and distributing HSE topics for awareness campaigns among employees.

• Address and resolve related issues, escalating complex operational problems when necessary.
• Adhere to quality requirements and specifications for products, processes, and related activities.
• Execute and comply with all related tasks as per defined policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic HSE principles and compliance requirements.
