About Worley and the Opportunity

Worley is a global company of energy, chemicals, and resources experts headquartered in Australia. We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value across the life of their assets, specializing in consulting, engineering, procurement, and construction. This full-time position for a Senior Associate Consultant Digital Solutions Lead is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting our commitment to sustainable solutions and AI-enabled delivery.

Role Purpose and Impact

This role is for an experienced digital solutions professional with strong capabilities in delivery, solution design, and technical advisory. The Senior Associate Consultant will drive complex digital programs, focusing on solution creation, configuration, testing, integration, implementation, and scaling within capital project and operations environments. The position directly influences client satisfaction, delivery performance, and the quality of consulting outcomes, impacting project progress, issue resolution, business value realization, and customer confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large digital transformations within oil & gas, power, energy, or relatable industries.
  • Support initiatives such as solution definition, digital strategy, automation, digital twin, APM/ARIM, OT transformation, asset performance, and data-driven operational improvement.
  • Engage in client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement, building trusted relationships across business, operational, and technical teams.
  • Focus day-to-day on digital solution delivery, data architecture, information management, and technology-enabled business.
  • Work with operational technologies (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historians) and enterprise IT systems (ERP, CMMS, MES).
  • Identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and support practical decisions that improve delivery outcomes and protect Worley’s reputation.
  • Confidently facilitate workshops, present to stakeholders, and translate complex topics into clear, practical messages.
  • Influence without direct authority, build consensus across cross-functional teams, and support effective decision-making.
  • Manage assigned responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy, engaging stakeholders and contributing to successful outcomes across multiple consulting engagements.
  • Support compliance with Worley and client HSE requirements and promote safe working practices.

Required Expertise and Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of solution and data architecture, data science, data processing, analytics, automation, IoT, and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital technologies, OT, data integration, analytics, IoT, OPC, ETL, and related technologies.
  • Understanding of how digital solutions are designed, integrated, and operationalized, including data flows, integration requirements, analytics use cases, platform configuration, user adoption, and value realization.
  • Proven experience in OT/IT convergence, including integration of operational technology (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historians) with enterprise IT systems (ERP, CMMS, MES).
  • Familiarity with Digital Twin, Asset Performance Management (APM), Cloud environments and distributed architectures (IaaS, PaaS), cloud security, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop practical digital recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Track record supporting the delivery of complex digital programs that include solution creation, configuration, testing, integration, implementation, and scaling.
  • Specific experience in Automation, Digital Twins, Asset Performance Management (APM), Operational Technology, Data & Digital Assets, or related digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting technology evaluation, solution roadmaps, requirements definition, proof-of-concept development, implementation planning, testing coordination, and transition into operational use.
  • Experience defining and executing a Digital Strategy roadmap for industrial or capital-intensive organizations.
  • Experience with Digital Twins, Data & Analytics, Industrial IoT, APM, or enterprise transformation solutions.
  • Experience supporting digital strategy, solution definition, use case development, proof-of-concept delivery, testing, implementation planning, or operationalization is advantageous.

Candidate Profile and Work Environment

The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences. This role requires a proactive, delivery-focused, and commercially aware consulting mindset. The ability to travel to customer sites is essential, and candidates must be comfortable supporting multiple clients, industries, and engagement types while maintaining focus on customer outcomes and business value.
