The Senior Planning Officer Role

The Senior Planning Officer is responsible for ensuring that inventory levels in all sales depots align with the established inventory policy for every active SKU. This full-time role involves continuous monitoring of stock levels, analyzing sales trends, and proactively identifying aging stock to minimize expiry. The officer will play a crucial part in the replenishment process, from suggesting quantities to monitoring confirmed orders and generating performance reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock fluctuations to identify areas requiring replenishment or order adjustments.
• Analyze sales trends to develop effective stock replenishment plans.
• Identify aging stock to reduce product expiry within depots.
• Suggest replenishment stock quantities and submit consolidated planned orders to CPP for confirmation.
• Offload CPP approved replenishment stocks into SAP.
• Monitor CPP confirmed orders in collaboration with sales depots.
• Generate service level reports to track performance.
• Generate weekly reefer turnaround delay reports.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in planning, inventory management, or a similar supply chain role.
