About Accenture Saudi Arabia and the Role

Accenture Saudi Arabia is seeking a SOC Senior Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to the Security Operations Center, serving as a key escalation point for complex security incidents and applying advanced analytical and investigative capabilities.

Role Purpose

The SOC Senior Analyst is responsible for thoroughly investigating security threats that extend beyond initial triage. This role involves translating investigative experiences into improved processes for the entire team, thereby enhancing overall security posture and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle escalated incidents from L1, taking ownership of investigation, analysis, and resolution in line with defined processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Analyze and categorize events of interest according to agreed severity levels and runbooks, applying sound judgment to ambiguous or complex cases.
• Perform detailed triage and in-depth analysis of detected or escalated security events across client environments.
• Build and maintain SOC operating procedures and documentation, including playbooks and incident response plans.
• Support the SIEM administrator in use case creation, helping translate threat intelligence and operational learnings into improved detection logic.
• Act as a point of guidance for L1 analysts, contributing to knowledge sharing and team capability development.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in security incident investigation and analysis. This includes demonstrated capability in applying deeper analytical rigor to complex threats and translating operational experiences into process improvements.
