Boston Consulting Group (KSA) is seeking a Visiting Forward Deployed AI Scientist for an internship position in Riyadh, Middle East. This role is designed for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to advanced analytics projects within a global consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities of the AI Scientist

As a Visiting Forward Deployed AI Scientist, you will join a rapidly expanding team that manages the entire analytics value chain. Your responsibilities will include:

Framing new business challenges.
Designing innovative algorithms.
Implementing and deploying scalable solutions.
Enabling colleagues and clients to fully adopt AI.
Applying data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across various industries to achieve significant business impact.
Partnering with clients in various BCG regions and industries on key topics, such as climate change, to design, build, and deploy new solutions.
Developing and delivering thought leadership within scientific communities and through publications.
Leading conferences on behalf of BCG X.

Candidate Profile and Required Qualifications

Successful candidates are intellectually curious builders who are action-oriented, creative, and communicative, with a passion for data science, statistics, operations research, and redefining organizations into AI-led innovative companies. Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Comfort in a client-facing role with the ambition to lead teams.
Ability to distill complex results or processes into simple, clear visualizations.
Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner.
A strong interest in building solutions and comfort working with modern development tools and writing code collaboratively; software development or DevOps experience is a plus.
Significant experience applying advanced analytics to business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data.
Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, with the ability to translate this into business implications for clients.
Strong project management skills.
