Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for construction projects.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments related to contracting activities.
- Assist in reconciling bank accounts and project accounts.
- Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Track project expenses and compare them to the project budget.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions.
- Assist with tax filings, reports, and any other compliance-related activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the contracting or construction industry.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
