About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs from engineering drawings.
• Prepare and present cost/schedule information at meetings.
• Manage and operate risk register software tools.

Requirements:
Ideal candidates should be fresh graduates holding a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering, with working knowledge of project scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project. Prior internship experience in a related field will be highly advantageous.

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally skilled Senior Cost Engineer to become a vital part of our team in managing cost performance, reporting accuracy, and ensuring financial compliance on a large infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed project cost estimates throughout various design and execution phases.
• Assist in developing baseline budgets and cost plans aligned with project scope.
• Track expenditures against approved budgets, highlighting variances.
• Update cost forecasts based on actual performance.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure accurate documentation of any changes.
• Produce periodic cost reports illustrating actual vs. forecasted expenditures.
• Provide insights into procurement strategies and assist in payment schedules.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in cost engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in cost control systems and project monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with financial reporting.
• Experience with infrastructure megaprojects is a plus.
