The new Four Seasons Resort, situated on Shura Island, will feature approximately 149 rooms and suites, multiple dining outlets, meeting spaces, a marine discovery center, and extensive leisure facilities.

Role Overview

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Director of Residences for the Four Seasons Hotel Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and reports directly to the General Manager. The Director of Residences will lead the residential operation, ensuring that all residence owners, residents, and guests receive high levels of personalized service and operational excellence. This position is central to creating a seamless connection between the resort and residences while upholding Four Seasons standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Residences operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to Four Seasons standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with residence owners, residents, and stakeholders.
• Oversee residential services, including owner requests, arrivals/departures, housekeeping, maintenance, concierge, and lifestyle services.
• Collaborate with various resort departments (Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Finance, Food & Beverage, People & Culture) to ensure seamless support.
• Implement and monitor operating procedures, service standards, and quality controls for residential services.
• Ensure residence areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, safety, comfort, and presentation.
• Manage owner and resident feedback, concerns, and service recovery with professionalism.
• Support the preparation and management of residential budgets, service charges, forecasts, and operational expenses.
• Monitor performance indicators, service trends, owner satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, property policies, brand standards, and management agreements.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop the Residences team, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
• Support operational activities, residential readiness, handover processes, system implementation, and owner communication plans.
• Represent the residences professionally in meetings, inspections, owner interactions, and operational planning.
• Promote the Four Seasons Golden Rule by creating a trusted, respectful, and personalized residential experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience (5-10 years) as a Director of Residences, Residences Manager, Director of Rooms, or senior operations leader within a luxury hotel, branded residences, or high-end residential environment.
• Strong understanding of luxury residential operations, owner relations, property management, and personalized service standards.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgets, service charges, cost control, and operational planning.
• High level of discretion, professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence when dealing with owners and residents.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work closely with resort operations while maintaining the privacy and expectations of residence owners and residents.

This full-time position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Red Sea on Shura Island, located between Umluj and Al Wajh in Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a luxury resort and residential environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality experience for all residents and guests.
