About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking an Associate Director Commercial for the Snacking & Convenience Business Unit. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and execution to drive sustainable revenue growth and margin improvement for the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial agenda for the Snacking & Convenience Business Unit, translating BU strategy into actionable channel plans.
• Drive trade investment effectiveness, channel development, and execution standards.
• Lead commercial inputs into forecasting and S&OP processes.
• Develop and implement channel strategies across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, E-commerce, and Convenience.
• Manage trade spend across channels and customers, ensuring clear ROI and performance outcomes.
• Ensure effective execution of commercial plans, driving availability, visibility, and activation standards.
• Analyze performance data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights and define response actions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure aligned execution.
• Manage budgets and ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Trade Marketing team.

Commercial Planning and Performance

This involves translating the Business Unit strategy into annual and mid-term commercial plans across all relevant channels. The role is accountable for delivering revenue, margin, and trade investment targets, tracking performance against these targets, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Furthermore, the Associate Director Commercial will lead the commercial inputs required for forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.

Channel Strategy and Execution

The position requires the development and execution of comprehensive channel strategies spanning Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, E-commerce, and Convenience channels. Key activities include driving distribution, assortment, and visibility expansion within priority customers and identifying new growth opportunities. The role will also support key commercial negotiations to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 8–12 years of experience in the FMCG sector.
• Strong exposure to Trade Marketing, Channel Management, or Commercial Planning.
• Solid experience across key channels including Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, E-commerce, and Convenience.
• Good understanding of distribution, in-store execution, and customer dynamics.
• Experience with trade marketing campaigns, visibility materials, planograms, and budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
