The Opportunity: HC Senior Associate

PwC Middle East is seeking an HC Senior Associate to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working as part of a team dedicated to solving complex business issues within the Human Capital function, from strategy development to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HC operational activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee record updates, transfers, documentation, and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and changes, validate employee data, liaise with payroll and finance teams, and support the resolution of payroll-related queries.
  • Collaborate with government relations and mobility teams on employment documentation, visa/work permit processes, iqama requirements, renewals, and status tracking.
  • Support adherence to local labor law, firm policies, and internal governance by maintaining complete employee files and tracking required documents.
  • Maintain accurate data in HR systems, prepare regular reports and dashboards, and utilize data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide first-level support to employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle matters, escalating complex cases to appropriate specialists.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with HC, payroll, finance, IT, mobility, and government relations teams to ensure smooth employee service delivery.
  • Identify recurring operational challenges, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of more efficient and employee-focused HC processes.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong follow-through, a service mindset, and attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, confidentially, and within agreed timelines.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Human Capital operations or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle and HC operational activities.
  • Proficiency in coordinating payroll inputs and maintaining HR system data.
  • Knowledge of local labor law and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and provide advisory support.
