Piping QC Inspector

About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced Piping QC Inspector to join an infrastructure project in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on quality control inspection for metallic and non-metallic piping systems, specifically GRP, HDPE, and uPVC, to support upcoming District Cooling Plant (DCP) activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect the receiving, storage, and preservation of pipes, fittings, valves, and related equipment.
• Inspect piping installation, fit-up, welding, jointing, and supports for CS, SS, copper, GRP, HDPE, and uPVC systems.
• Witness pressure testing, hydrotesting, flushing, cleaning, reinstatement, and final punch-list activities.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and inspection procedures.
• Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)/Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, and maintain material traceability and inspection records.
• Identify nonconformities and follow up on corrective actions with construction teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant piping QC inspection experience.
• Strong practical experience in GRP, HDPE, and uPVC piping works.
• Good knowledge of ASME ********, AWWA C950, and applicable MOWE/NWC requirements.
• Relevant piping inspection or QC certification is preferred.
• Experience in Saudi/GCC mega-projects, particularly in district cooling plants, chilled water networks, sewage treatment plants, or wastewater lift stations, is preferred.

• Proficiency in reporting and documentation.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on an infrastructure project. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
