About the Role

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a full-time SIS Developer to join its enterprise systems team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is dedicated to the backend development and technical configuration of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, requiring a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Impact

The SIS Developer will operate under the guidance of the SIS consultant and business analyst, focusing exclusively on system development, integration, and maintenance tasks. This position plays a key role in building and maintaining PeopleSoft customizations, APIs, interfaces, and reports that support the academic and administrative processes of the college.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions components using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and related tools.
• Build and support REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Develop batch processes, reports (SQR/BI Publisher), and data extracts as per technical specifications.
• Participate in technical design reviews and code walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with the internal SIS consultant and business analyst for clarifying functional specifications and translating them into efficient code.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and technical support across SIS modules.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and environment migrations from a technical perspective.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions technical development.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Integration Broker.
• Solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, with proven experience in building and consuming them.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with SQR, BI Publisher, and other reporting tools.
• Familiarity with PeopleTools, Application Designer, Data Mover, and Change Assistant.
