Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This pivotal role encompasses managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive accounting experience, sharp analytical abilities, and the commitment to drive efficiency and precision in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities in Financial Management:

• Handle all CAPEX-related matters, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Manage various projects such as renovation projects ensuring their progress aligns with budgetary requirements.
• Prepare monthly reports detailing project progress and budget status; conduct thorough checks and reviews of contracts and variation order quotations.
• Encompasses managing and preparing OPEX.
• Serve as a member of the tender opening committee and assist in the preparation and monitoring of budget and cash flow.
• Compile and analyze critical financial and ad-hoc reports to ensure accurate reporting and timely dissemination of information to key stakeholders on Azad properties' financial position.
• Ensure documentation of all accounts records, books reconciliation and accounting activities to ensure accuracy of working papers.
• Maintain document management, information systems and procedures to facilitate timely retrieval of records for auditing processes.
• Participate in monthly and yearly closings.
• Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, accounting systems and manual filing systems.
• Ensure that central accounts (payment, contract, accruals and related transactions) are treated appropriately according to internal and statutory controls.
• Monitor fixed assets accounting for capitalized and non-capitalized assets.

Essential Qualifications And Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant fields.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Desirable Experience and Traits:

• Experience in construction or real estate industry.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly financial modules.
