About El Seif Operation and Maintenance

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team in Turaif, Northern Frontier, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems within building facilities through expert maintenance and repair.

Role Summary

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing electrical installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for building facilities and low-voltage systems operating below 500V. This position requires practical experience across various electrical components and a strong adherence to safety procedures within operations and maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage electrical wiring networks.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of lighting fixtures and electrical accessories.
• Identify electrical faults and complete the required corrective maintenance.
• Inspect electrical wiring, connections, panels, and equipment to ensure safety and operational condition.
• Utilize electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and correctly.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities as assigned.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report identified faults, safety concerns, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and compliance with all site procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical diploma, certificate, or a recognized vocational qualification in electricity or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and electrical accessories.
• Experience in building facilities, operations and maintenance, or facility management projects.
• Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a three-year technical diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a two-year technical certificate.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with a one-year apprenticeship certificate.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Ability to read electrical drawings and accurately identify electrical faults.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work effectively under supervision.
• Willingness to complete a technical or electrical trade test as part of the assessment process.
