About the Role

Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking an Assistant Chief Steward to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role involves supervising Stewards and supporting team members to ensure excellent guest and member experiences. The Assistant Chief Steward will also coordinate daily operations, maintain Back of House areas, and uphold stringent health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Stewards to maintain high operational standards.
• Provide support to Team Members for their training and development.
• Coordinate daily pot-wash and dish-wash operations.
• Ensure Back of House areas meet the highest cleanliness standards, with cleaning schedules consistently followed and completed.
• Adhere to Health, Hygiene, and Safety guidelines, particularly when handling hazardous substances, and comply with all relevant requirements.
• Report any faults, misuse, or damage to equipment to the relevant Managers, Executive Chef, or Chief Engineering.
• Verify that correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available and that guidelines for its use are followed.
• Ensure all machinery is operated properly, efficiently, and safely, in accordance with the hotel's Health and Safety Manual.
• Assist with the location, movement, and storage of operational equipment.
• Support the stock-taking process for equipment and other items as needed.
• Ensure team members comply with all Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Hotel's Management.
