CAD Drafter

About the Role

Talents Sea is seeking a CAD Drafter to join their team in Makkah, with locations in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop drawings that meet project specifications, standards, and deadlines.

Role Overview

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and models, ensuring they adhere to project requirements and industry standards. This position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, capable of managing drafting tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and project visualizations using SketchUp.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Develop detailed drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and elevations based on engineering and architectural requirements.
• Revise drawings in accordance with project changes, design updates, and technical comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, annotations, and technical details.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, site teams, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely drawing updates.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and submission-ready.
• Complete drafting tasks within project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related field.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves close collaboration with various project teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
