Alandalus Education is seeking a dedicated professional to join its IT Department. This full-time position is based in either Jeddah or Makkah, within the Makkah region, and plays a crucial role in maintaining the security of our digital infrastructure.

The Role: Cyber Security Administrator

The Cyber Security Administrator is responsible for implementing cybersecurity controls, managing security risks, and protecting the organization's systems and digital infrastructure. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, while also maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor company-wide cybersecurity policies and controls.
• Monitor security systems, analyze potential threats, and respond effectively to security incidents.
• Conduct security risk assessments and propose comprehensive mitigation plans.
• Manage user identities and permissions, including regular review of access levels.
• Implement cybersecurity awareness programs and actively raise security awareness among employees.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant security standards.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing risks, incidents, and compliance levels.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
• Good knowledge of the National Cybersecurity Authority (ECC) controls and global best practices.
• Experience with network protection systems, identity and access management solutions, and general security protection solutions.

Preferred Certifications and Background

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification.
• ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) or CISSP certification for candidates with advanced experience.
• Experience working in multi-branch organizations or within the education sector.
