Senior Finance Manager

About the Role

Mujahid Page is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company's financial management activities. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and involves comprehensive financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and control. The role ensures strong financial performance, effective cash flow management, and compliance with accounting standards and Saudi regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in the real estate and/or construction industry, with a strong understanding of property development, project costing, construction contracts, real estate investments, project cash flows, and profitability analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, business plans, financial forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, project feasibility, investment returns, and profitability.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
• Manage financial planning and analysis for real estate development, property investment, construction, leasing, and property management activities.
• Evaluate the financial feasibility of real estate development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
• Oversee project financial management, cost monitoring, budgeting, and profitability analysis for construction and development projects.
• Manage short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for business and project requirements.
• Analyze financial results, profitability, revenue trends, operating costs, and key performance indicators.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash management, bank reconciliations, and liquidity planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi tax and regulatory requirements, including Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax.
• Establish, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, general accounting, fixed assets, and financial reconciliation activities.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the finance and accounting team, establishing objectives and performance expectations.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for strategic business decisions and investment opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a significant portion in the real estate and/or construction industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of property development, project costing, construction contracts, and real estate investments.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, profitability analysis, and cash flow management.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Experience in leading and developing finance and accounting teams.
