About the Role

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Laundry Kitchen Mechanic for a full-time position. This role is central to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of hotel facilities by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing essential laundry and kitchen equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to operational excellence and a safe working environment through effective preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on laundry and kitchen equipment according to established schedules.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and gas-powered equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Laundry, and Culinary teams to support daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
• Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as a Laundry Kitchen Mechanic or in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of commercial laundry and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related faults.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate. The Laundry Kitchen Mechanic will work within the hotel facilities, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
