Senior Software Engineer Full Stack

About the Role

Moyasar Financial Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to join its Engineering team. This full-time role focuses on building and enhancing digital payment products and services. The successful candidate will work across the full stack, contributing to reliable solutions for businesses and merchants to accept and manage payments.

Role Context and Impact

This position requires an individual who can understand business problems, help shape technical solutions, and take ownership of features from conception to delivery. The role involves developing and improving core payment infrastructure and merchant services, ensuring high performance, reliability, scalability, and security of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve full-stack features for Moyasar’s payment products and merchant services.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and user-facing web features.
• Build reliable integrations to support the payment ecosystem.
• Translate merchant and business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features from problem definition through development and production.
• Work with technologies including Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
• Improve the performance, reliability, scalability, and security of existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
• Review code and provide support to other engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and REST APIs.
• Experience building user-facing web products.
• Strong product mindset and ownership.
• Good understanding of testing, performance, and scalable system design.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in fintech, digital payments, or financial services is a significant advantage.
