Supervisor Systems

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Supervisor-Systems to join their team. This full-time role involves overseeing and managing technical systems, providing support, and implementing improvements. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer software and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business problems.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements for system operations.
• Operate computer and peripheral equipment by entering commands and activating controls.
• Troubleshoot, modify, support, manage, and maintain application programs and user accounts.
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions, and installation activities.
• Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
• Manage and coordinate planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation for telecommunications activities, including client/server support and strategic planning.
• Consult with and advise others on administrative policies, technical problems, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications.

Leadership and Team Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Operational Compliance and Efficiency

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Verify information visually and utilize computers/Point of Sale (POS) systems for data entry and retrieval.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No prior supervisory experience is required for this role.

Physical Demands

The role may require moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned by Supervisors as needed.
