Assembly Repair Maintenance & Overhaul Mechanic

About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking an Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul Mechanic to join its Oilfield Services Team. This full-time role involves troubleshooting complex mechanical equipment and delivering reliable maintenance solutions within a safety-focused environment. The successful candidate will contribute to operational excellence by ensuring reliable equipment performance and customer support.

Role Responsibilities

As an ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following:

• Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling, and performing visual inspections of mechanical assemblies.
• Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance on coiled tubing units, injectors, reels, trailers, power packs, and fluid pumps.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues to ensure maximum reliability during well operations.
• Maintaining, testing, and assembling products, tools, and sub-assemblies for operations.
• Working to predefined procedures in line with established work practices.
• Assisting in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.
• Performing complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction.
• Providing technical support across the business while complying with HS&E policies and procedures.
• Handling special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance, repair, and operational excellence.
• Technical Expertise: Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues.
• Safety Focus: Adherence to HS&E policies and procedures.
• Mentorship: Ability to provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.

Work Environment

This position operates on a shift-based working pattern with opportunities for overtime. There may be a requirement to remain on call after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
