Heart of House Specialist

About the Role

Edition is seeking a Heart of House Specialist to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role is essential for supporting various vital functions across the hotel by ensuring cleanliness and operational efficiency. The specialist will collaborate with multiple departments, including kitchen, catering, and laundry, to meet their cleaning requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clean linen and impeccable dishes for guest use.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools such as dishwashers, hand washing stations, washing machines, and dryers.
• Transport dishes and linen throughout the hotel premises.
• Ensure all assigned cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Comfortable working in standing, sitting, and moving positions for extended periods.
• Capable of reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• No high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior related work experience is necessary.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are needed for this position.

Additional Duties

The Heart of House Specialist will perform all other tasks as requested by managers that are consistent with the position's responsibilities.
