Role Overview

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Regional Director, Water & Environment (Middle East). This full-time role involves providing strategic leadership, driving business growth, developing key client relationships, and overseeing the successful delivery of major water, environmental, and waste projects across the Middle East region. The Director will lead the growth of the Water & Environment capabilities in the Middle East, working with world-class teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Water & Environment business across the Middle East.
• Develop strategic client relationships and new business opportunities.
• Lead tenders, proposals, and commercial strategies.
• Oversee medium to large-scale water, environmental, and waste projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
• Drive performance, innovation, and best practice within the business unit.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Middle East, with a preference for experience in UAE and KSA.
• Strong expertise in Water, Environment, and/or Waste sectors.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong business development, client management, and commercial experience.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and legislation.
• A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is required; professional qualifications are preferred.
