Role Overview

The Sr. Console Operator is responsible for the safe and effective operation of plant equipment, consoles, and automated systems. This full-time role focuses on optimizing task efficiency and procedures while ensuring strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines within the plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various plant equipment, perform minor maintenance tasks, and handle heavy lifting as required.
• Execute assigned operational tasks in accordance with established task lists.
• Adhere to operating discipline principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of designated plant areas.
• Monitor and respond promptly to operating and error messages from control systems.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors for timely resolution.
• Ensure strict compliance with all operating discipline principles, procedures, practices, EH&S guidelines, and regulatory/permit requirements.
• Respond immediately and vigilantly to emergency situations, ensuring all emergency protocols and procedures are followed.
• Utilize process knowledge and skills to continuously improve plant performance and operating discipline.
• Apply operational knowledge and expertise to troubleshoot process-related deviations and issues.
• Issue work permits as necessary for activities conducted within the assigned area.
• Perform any additional job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor or manager.
