About the Quality Control Senior Specialist Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Quality Control Senior Specialist to join its team in Abha, located in the Asir Region. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring the consistent execution of quality assurance standards within distribution centers.

Core Responsibilities and Standards Execution

The Quality Control Senior Specialist is responsible for validating and overseeing the daily implementation of all quality assurance standards and procedures within the Distribution Centers. This involves understanding and applying quality standards, testing protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by the central Quality Assurance (QA) team. The role includes conducting practical testing of new standards to ensure their feasibility and efficiency before full implementation. Routine and spot checks on distribution center operations, covering areas such as temperature mapping, inventory segregation, security, goods receipt, dispatch quality, and equipment calibration, are critical to ensure adherence to established QC standards. The specialist is accountable for the correct and consistent application of approved QA standards by operational staff.

Deviation Management and Root Cause Analysis

This role requires continuous monitoring and immediate reporting of any deviations, non-conformances, or operational breaches from defined QC standards and regulatory requirements, such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP). The Senior Specialist will lead the formal investigation process for critical deviations and non-conformances, conducting thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify underlying systemic, procedural, or human factors. Findings, including evidence and investigation steps, must be documented in a formal report submitted to the QA team to support the recommendation of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).

Training Support and Continuous Improvement

The Quality Control Senior Specialist will assist the QA team in translating complex standards into practical training materials for distribution center operations staff and QC inspectors. Providing crucial feedback to the central QA team regarding execution challenges, unexpected outcomes, or potential process improvements observed during testing and implementation is also a key function. Furthermore, the role involves supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation of daily QC checks, investigation records, and compliance status.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related scientific/technical field. A minimum of 4-6 years of direct experience in a Quality Control (QC) or hands-on compliance role within a large-scale Distribution Center, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and an awareness of ERP Systems are also necessary.

Work Environment

This position operates within a distribution center environment, with approximately 90% of the work conducted indoors and 10% outdoors.
