The Role: Clinic Services Coordinator

The Clinic Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our clinics and fostering a positive experience for all patients. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive administrative and patient support, encompassing direct patient interaction, managing records, scheduling, and coordinating various essential services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and courteously inquire about their complaints or needs.
  • Request patient identification and determine the type of coverage (Cash, Insurance, or Aramco).
  • For insured patients, verify eligibility of coverage at ASH.
  • Scan patient information, including ID, insurance card, and medical reports, and accurately enter it into the electronic patient record system.
  • Open files for clinic visits.
  • Accurately charge services as entered by the physician.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to patients, directing them to the Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology department, and other hospital areas as needed.
  • Schedule re-appointments or refer patients to another clinic upon receiving notification from the clinician regarding unavailability.
  • Deliver personalized, coordinated care and support for patients and their families.
  • Answer department telephone calls using correct salutations and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Ask patients if they require printed invoice bills.
  • Receive and respond to emails from the department regarding information updates.
  • Explain insurance percentages and different percentages with specialist doctors to patients.
  • Treat all individuals with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Clinic Services Coordinator position should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant administrative or patient support role. A foundational understanding of clinic operations and patient interaction is beneficial for this role.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time role based at Almoosa Health Group's facilities in Al-Ahsa, Eastern Province. The position requires on-site presence to effectively manage patient services and administrative tasks within a clinical environment.
