The Role: Area Maintenance Manager – MFC (Cracker)

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager – MFC (Cracker) to lead maintenance activities for the Mixed Feed Cracker (MFC)/Steam Cracker area. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail and is crucial for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations in accordance with company standards. The role involves managing various aspects of maintenance across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities for the Mixed Feed Cracker (MFC)/Steam Cracker area, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations in accordance with Company standards.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance for Cracker units, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.
• Ensure effective execution and reporting of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
• Support Planning & Scheduling and Reliability teams in maintenance optimization, bad actor analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Lead maintenance planning and execution during turnarounds, major shutdowns, and emergency maintenance.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors while ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements.
• Prepare weekly maintenance reports and participate in maintenance review meetings.
• Develop team capability through technical coaching and job-specific training in coordination with HR.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management, specifically within the cracker or petrochemical industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in using CMMS systems for maintenance execution and reporting.
• Experience in leading maintenance during turnarounds, major shutdowns, and emergency situations.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and their application in maintenance activities.
