About the Role

Sundus is seeking a Commissioning Mechanical Specialist Granulation to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This is a contract position requiring a professional with 5-10 years of experience in mechanical commissioning within industrial settings, specifically focusing on granulation plants.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and coordinate mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for the Granulation plant.
Review and implement approved commissioning procedures, method statements, checklists, test packs, and commissioning schedules.
Verify mechanical completion and system readiness before commissioning and start-up.
Review and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment drawings, piping drawings, equipment datasheets, and vendor manuals.
Coordinate with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Operations, Engineering, vendors, and technology licensors.
Support systemization, subsystem handover, mechanical completion, punch-list clearance, and commissioning dossier preparation.
Inspect and verify mechanical equipment installation, alignment, lubrication, rotation, piping configuration, and readiness for start-up.
Perform or supervise equipment rotation checks, lubrication, alignment verification, flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, leak testing, and functional testing.
Coordinate mechanical commissioning of rotating equipment and material handling systems associated with Granulation.

Required Experience and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably within granulation plants.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Experience coordinating with various multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
